Since 2014 the Centre has been providing health field assistance to several dozen needy clients a year (periodically). The target group are mostly ill senior citizens from around the village of Grigorauca (the Sîngerei region), who need health home care services. The partner on the Moldovan side is the parish Caritas Grigorauca.

Since the beginning of its existence the Centre in Grigorauca has helped about 900 ill people. The Centre employs two employees. It offers health and home care (injections, medication, bandages, physiotherapy, massages, lending of medical aids, as well as food delivery). Visiting the ill is also connected with psychosocial support. An individual care plan is drawn up for each recipient, depending on the needs of each person.

Services provided:

• measuring the temperature, blood pressure, pulse
• first medical aid
• artificial nutrition
• therapeutic enema
• therapeutic exercises to prevent bedsores
• treating various wounds
• body hygiene at home and in the Centre
• washing / ironing bed linen
• patient transport to / from the Centre, clinic
• house cleaning (removing rubbish, cleaning the windows and floors)
• help putting on clothes

Home care in Grigorauca is supported by Three kings collection of Caritas Czech Republic. At the end of 2014 we also lounched a project Dignified life in the region.
