In early 2007 the conversion of the old parish building in Tiachiv into a Pastoral Charity Centre, home of our partner organisation, the Greek Catholic Caritas Tiachiv, was completed. It also contains a material aid warehouse, from which selected socially needy families, individuals or, occasionally, newcomers in need are provided with the following: clothes, footwear, nappies, hygiene and sanitary supplies and other necessary things. Material aid is largely donated by individual charities in the Diocese of Ostrava-Opava, organisations or individual donors.

Thanks to regular contact with the partner organisations in Ukraine and Moldova, personal handovers of this material aid take place.
